The Club Sport Emelec played against Uruguay River Plate, their third and last friendly match as part of the preseason held in Montevideo.

For the main game, DT Alfredo Arias lined up with: Esteban Dreer; Carlos Moreno, Christian Ramos Fernando Pinillo and Oscar Bagüí; Ayrton Preciado, Pedro Quiñónez, Osbaldo Lastra and Abel Araujo; Marcos Mondaini and Bruno Vides

A few minutes into the game, Richard Porta put in advantage to the local picture, but within minutes Bruno Vides scored his first goal with the Bombillo, through a shot from outside. Before retiring, Matías Jones scored for River.

In the complementary part, again Bruno Vides scored of medium distance, achieving the tie for the Bombillo.

In a second game, with alternating lineups, River won 1-0.

In this way, Emelec ends up unbeaten in the 3 friendlies he played in Uruguay, tying against Wanderers and River; And defeating Peñarol 2-1.
