Marcos raised it to the fans in appreciation gesture.Then, on his Instagram account, ‘El Diablo’ expressed his gratitude: “I want to thank God for letting me do what I love the most and everyone that are and have been part of this. Special mention to my family that has been always with me. Let’s go for more.”

Marcos Mondaini was born in February 14, 1985 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He debuted in Emelec on January 29, 2006 in the Capwell Stadium against El Nacional. His first goal was against Espoli on Game 3 (2006.)That year he formed a double with Luis Miguel Escalada, being huge goal scorers during the entire year and obtaining the second place. On his first Clasico, Mondaini scored one of the goals for the 3-0 in the Monumental Stadium. He returned to ‘El Bombillo’ in 2012 and was part of 3-Times Championship (2013, 2014, and 2015) and 2 Second Places (2012, 2016.)He has scored 50 goals in Emelec (48 for Campeonato Nacional, 1 for Copa Libertadores and 1 for Copa Sudamericana) in 300 games played for the moment (245 for Campeonato Nacional, 33 for Libertadores and 22 for Sudamericana.)
